NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U74416, Lower House Road, Rowlestone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U74416, Lower House Road, Rowlestone, outside Bach Cottage to junc of C1209. Grid Ref: 335438/227467. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via The Wigga onto C1219 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing, verge reinstatement and drainage recovery works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th of June 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 25 days.
