High Street, Temporary Road Closure

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U93624, High Street, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93624, High Street, Leominster, outside 6B in the nearside carriageway to the property. Grid Ref: 349635/259088. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Westbury Street onto Dishley Street onto Rainbow Street onto Burgess Street onto Broad Street.

The said closure is required due to gas main works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th of June 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
