Parkside Gardens, Temporary Restriction of Traffic

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Parkside Gardens, Sw19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations In Parkslde Gardens, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic In the said road.

2. During the works, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Parkside Gardens, between the common boundary of Nos. 3 and 4 Parkside Gardens and the common boundary of Nos. 4 and 5 Parkside Gardens;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Parkside Gardens specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;

(c) enter or proceed in the eastern footway of the length of Parkside Gardens specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Parkside Gardens specified in subparagraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via:-

(a) Parkside Avenue, Parkside and Calonne Road, or vice-versa; or

(b) Parkside Avenue, Peek Crescent, Marryat Road and Calonne Road or vice-versa.

6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d)any person requiring pedestrian or vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order will come into operation on Friday 10th June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed that day. However, the Order will remain in force for

3 months should the works be delayed or further works be required. Dated 30 May 2022.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) WEST BARNES LANE, KT3 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 5) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate level-crossing inspection works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane between the eastern kerb-line of Burlington Road and the western kerb-line of Linkway;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;

(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. The alternative routes for:-

(a) vehicles affected by the road closure will be via Claremont Avenue and Burlington Road, or vice versa;

(b) pedestrians affected by the road closure will be via the adjacent footbridge.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b)to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions in any emergency; or

(d)so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.
7. The Order will come into operation at 12.01am on Sunday 12th June 2022 and remain in force until 6am that day.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CASTLETON ROAD, CR4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water service pipe repair works in Castleton Road, CR4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Castleton Road, CR4, between the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 Castleton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 35 Castleton Road; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above; or

(c) enter or proceed in the north-western footway of Castleton Road which lies between a point 2 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 Castleton Road and a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 35 Castleton Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties adjacent to road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Pedestrian access to the properties adjacent to the length of footway specified in paragraph 2(c) above would be maintained at all times.

7. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

8. The point closures in Abbotts Road and Castleton Road would be suspended to facilitate a diversion route for vehicular traffic.

9. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Hadley Road, Sherwood Park Road, Abbotts Road, Commonside East or vice-versa.

10.Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. 11. The Order would come into operation on Monday 27th June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works would take 5 days to complete. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required. Dated 2 June, 2022.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON TENNIS EVENT DAYS AT THE AELTC VARIOUS TENNIS EVENT DAY RELATED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDERS RELATING TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS, PARKING PROVISIONS AND TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS DURING THE WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton has previously made various "Tennis Event Day" related Traffic Management Orders under sections 6, 9, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of these Orders will be to introduce various traffic and waiting and loading restrictions and certain parking provisions during the Wimbledon Championships 2022, including road closures in Bathgate Road, Church Road, Somerset Road.

3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Roads affected by the "Tennis Event Day" restrictions are specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

5. The Wimbledon Championships 2022 dates are from Monday 27th June to Sunday 10th July 2022, during which "Tennis Event Day" parking and traffic restrictions will apply. However, should the Wimbledon Championships 2022 overrun, the "Tennis Event Day" waiting and loading, parking and traffic restrictions will apply on the additional dates of the Wimbledon Championships 2022.

6. A copy of the Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans specifying the roads or lengths of road affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the 10 July 2022 at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX and the Wimbledon Library, 35A Wimbledon Hill Road, London SW19 7NB.
