Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990 & Notice of Application for Advertisement Consent

The Council has received the following planning application and advertisement consent applications which are located within a Conservation Area:

Conservation Area: Wigan Town Centre Applicant: BT Telecommunications Pic Application No: A/22/93577/FULL
Development at: Pavement Outside 76 Bradshawgate Leigh WN7 4NP For Planning Permission: Proposed installation of 1 new BT Street Hub, incorporating 2 digital 75 inch LCD advert screens, plus the removal of 2 associated BT kiosks Application No: A/22/93578/ADV
For Advertisement Consent: To display 2 digital 75 inch LCD display screens, one on each side of the Street Hub unit

Applications have been made to Wigan Council for planning permission and
advertisement consent for the above proposals, which the Council considers
would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
