Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Stott Hill, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Stott Hill, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Stott Hill from its junction with Cathedral Close to its junction with Barkerend Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Barkerend Road, Shipley Airedale Road, Canal Road, Balme Street, Bolton Road, Stott Hill (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on the 16th June 2022 and remain in force until 21:30 hours on the 16th June 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
