Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Temporary Restriction Of Pedestrians

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Act has approved the Order effective from the 16 December 2021 being extended and continuing in force until the 25 May 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on part of the following Public Right of Way:

That length of Public Footpath No.19 in the parish of Wilmslow, which commences at OS grid reference SJ 8423 8333 and runs in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 616 metres to O.S. grid reference SJ 84768310
The closure is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger due to a dangerous tree.
