Notice of Making of a Public Path Order Highways Act 1980 Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Footpath no. 568045, Sedbergh Diversion Order 2022

The above Order, made on 17 May, 2022 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath starting from a point on the western side of Akay Wood, Sedbergh on the Dalesway at Grid Reference SD 6575 9136 bearing east south easterly for approx. 182 metres to join the existing footpath at a gate in the boundary fence at Grid Reference SD 6592 9133 onto a line from the same point west of Akay Wood at Grid Reference SD 6575 9136 bearing east north east for approx. 40 metres to a point on the northern side and adjacent to the ha-ha before continuing through the woodland east and then east, south easterly for approx. 145 metres to a pedestrian gate at the field boundary at Grid Reference SD 6592 9133, as shown on the Order map. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to The Solicitor, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 3EL not later than 1 July, 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
