A34 Trunk Road (Peartree Interchange, Oxford) Temporary Traffic Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A34 Trunk Road in the County of Oxfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the adjoining roundabout. The effect of the Order is to authorise the closure of the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the A34 at South Hinksey Junction.
This measure is in the interests of road safety
while contractors working on behalf of Bridges
undertake grasscrete road installation on the
verge and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for
approximately 3 nights starting on or after
Monday 13th June 2022.
The Order will come into force on
10th June 2022 and have a maximum duration
of eighteen months, ceasing when the works
are complete.
Traffic affected by the closure will be diverted using the A34 southbound to Hinksey Hill Interchange (A423) and return. The temporary closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
