The County of Cumbria (Footpath No. 536018 in the Parish of Kendal) (temporary prohibition of pedestrians) order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Volkerstevin to carry out flood defence works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along a 390 metre section of Public Footpath No. 536018 at Mintsfeet in the Parish of Kendal between Grid References SD 51621 94297 and SD 51679 93948. There is no suitable alternative route available. However, the contractor may, when possible and deemed safe to do so, provide advisory/informal diversion routes whilst the restriction is in place, which would be indicated on site by the display of the relevant traffic signs.
