(South Approach, Chester-Le-Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 27 May 2022 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 70 metre length of South Approach, Chester-le-Street (access and egress into Sanders Communal Rooms will be prohibited) to enable NB Clark Limited sewer installation works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, a diversion will be available to vehicular traffic, Sanders Communal Rooms can be accessed via Bullion Lane. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on Monday 6 June 2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 Weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
