Notice Under S47(6) of the Planning Act 2008
Publication of Statement of Community Consultation
This notice has been published to confirm that the Statement of Community Consultation (SOCC) for the proposed Thorpe Marsh Gas Pipeline will be published on 14th October 2013 and thus the formal Stage 1Consultation period for the project will commence. The Stage 1consultation period will be open until 14th December 2013.
The Thorpe Marsh Gas Pipeline will be an 18km long buried gas pipeline running from Camblesforth to Barnby Dun to provide fuel to the Thorpe Marsh Power Station at Barnby Dun. The project will be amajor infrastructure project under the Planning Act 2008 and an application for adevelopment consent order for the pipeline will need to be made to the Secretary of State. This is your opportunity to influence the pipeline proposals before the application is submitted.

The SOCC sets out the two stages of consultation and how we will consult on this project. It can be found on the project website at www.thorpemarshgaspipeline.co.uk.
