Sedgemoor District Council Notice Of Public Path Order Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 And Paragraph 1 Of Schedule 14 The Sedgemoor District Council (Footpath Bw35/9 (In Part) In
The Parish Of Burnham And Highbridge) Public Path Diversion Order 2022
The above order was made on the 25th May 2022 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert part of footpath BW 35/9 in the parish of Burnham and Highbridge at Brue Farm starting from point A at Nat Grid Map Ref 331716, 146655 and running in a generally north westerly direction, for a distance of approximately 236 metres to point E (Grid Ref 331539, 146809) where it connects to the highway known as Huntspill Road and create an alternative footpath instead to a line running from the aforementioned point A and running in a west north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 192 metres to point B (GR 331542, 146692) then continuing in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 45 metres to point C (GR 331555,146734) then continuing in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 82 metres to point D (GR 331530,146776) where it will connect to the new reconfigured line of the Huntspill Road, on the southern side of the new roundabout, approximately 35 metres to the south from the current footpath. The width of the path will be a minimum of 2 metres. A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, from 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies may also be seen by contacting the Clerk, Burnham and Highbridge Town Council.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to, Assistant Director, Finance & Property, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR not later than 30th June 2022. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Sedgemoor District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
