Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Brean Temporary Closure of Coast Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Coast Road - from the junction with Sunningcrest Caravan Park Approach, northwards for a distance of 60 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out gully and cabling works. The Order becomes effective on 14th June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd June 2022 and last until 24th June 2022 between the hours of 21:00 - 06:00 for a total of 9 hours. Please visit
