Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine City of York Council Public Footpath, Askham Bryan No. 9 (Part) Creation Order 2019 & Public Footpath, Askham Bryan No. 9 (Part) Extinguishment Order 2019 and will attend at:
Priory Street Centre, 15 Priory Street, York, Y01 6ET on 28 June 2022 at 10.00am
To hold a public local inquiry into the Order. The effect of the Orders, if confirmed without modifications, will be to create the public footpath and extinguish the public footpath described below and modify the Former No. 2 Area of the County of the West Riding of Yorkshire Definitive Map and Statement accordingly.
To Create: Public Footpath, Askham Bryan No. 9 (part) commencing at OS GR SE 5538 4762 on the footway (to the south of 61 Askham Fields Lane) and proceeding in a general east north, easterly direction along the raised footway adjacent to the Askham Bryan College main access road and terminating at OS GR SE 5552 4767 on the maintainable highway known as Askham Fields Lane.
To Extinguish: That part of Public Footpath, Askham Bryan No. 9 (part) commencing at the footway (to the south of 61 Askham Fields Lane) adjacent to the Askham Bryan College access road at OS GR SE 5538 4762 and proceeding in a generally south easterly direction to its junction with the A64 dual carriageway at OS GR SE 5548 4737.
