The Borough of Watford (Watford) (Controlled
Parking Zones) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Sydney Road) (Amendment) (No. 16) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for the Hertfordshire County Council, proposes to make the above mentioned Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order would be to amend the existing Traffic Regulation Orders so that: Street parking arrangements proposed in the Borough of Watford (Watford) (Controlled Parking Zones) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Sydney Road) (Amendment) (No. 9) Order 2020 are to be revised as follows to meet the current service road junction arrangements for Compass House and Seaborne House. On the north side of Sydney Road:

* the existing residents permit parking bay will extend from 10 metres east from the north/east bend in Sydney Road to 30 metres west of the midpoint of the service road junction;

* the existing residents permit/pay & display bay will extend between 30 metres and 50 metres east of the midpoint of the service road junction;

* waiting will be prohibited at any time between 30 metres east and 30 metres west of the midpoint of the service road junction.
