The Borough Of Watford (Various Roads, Watford) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council has made the above-mentioned Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Government (Arrangements for Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2000 with the Hertfordshire County Council (the County), and in exercise of the powers conferred on that County under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 46A, 47, 49, 51 and 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and Part 6 of The Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act. The order will come into operation on Friday 27th May 2022. The Order has been made in the interests of road safety by preventing hazardous and obstructive parking from taking place. The effect of the order is to provide 'No Waiting At Any Time' waiting restriction at the following locations:
* At the junction of Middle Way and Beechwood Rise,
* On Bay Tree Walk, east of its junction with Nascot Wood Road
* On Nascot Wood Road between its junctions with Langley Road and north west of Birchmead & Bay Tree Walk
* On the south east side of Tunnel Wood Road, between Nascot Wood Road and Rufford Close
* At the junction of Bromet Close with Hempstead Road
* On the north section of Gullet Wood Road between Rushton Avenue & Sparrow Walk,
* At the junction of St Albans Road with Spring Gardens
* At the junction of St Albans Road with Holland Gardens
* On both sides of Ganders Ash east of its junction with High Road.
* At the junction Forest Road with Haines Way
* At the junction of Trident Way with High Road

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any of the provisions contained in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
