Public Footpath No. 61/4, Iver, Temporary Footpath Closure

Buckinghamshire County Council

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver. The closure is required in the interests of public safety due to the structural failure of Reeds Bridge and to allow works to take place to reinstate the bridge commencing on 27 May 2022 for 6 months. Alternative route is via the towpath along the Grand Union Canal to Thorney Lane North and north along the public highway to Marina Way to rejoin the public footpath. The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Horseshoe Hill, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Horseshoe Hill for 152 metres. Alternative route: Horseshoe Hill, Dorney Wood Road, Littleworth Road, Dropmore Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Pole Replacement takes place commencing on 15 June 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Marsham Way, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marsham Way for 47 metres. Alternative route: Marsham Way, Vicarage Way, Mill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Instillation of duct takes place commencing on 30 May 2022 between 09:00 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Slade Oak Lane, Denham in the Parish of Denham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Slade Oak Lane for approximately 194m. Alternative route: Denham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane, Hornhill Road, Woodland Road, Denham Way, North Orbital Road, Denham Avenue, Old Rectory Lane, Slade Oak Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach tree trimming works to clear from overhead cables take place commencing on 30 May 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 13, Wexham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 made on 13 December 2021, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport been continued in force and will so continue until 14 June 2023 or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to continue temporarily prohibiting any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 13, Wexham, from Meadow View for a distance of approximately 30m to a point south of Meadow View. The closure is required in the interests of public safety whilst works to the damaged bridge structure are ongoing. Alternative route will be east on WEX/28/2 to Trenches Lane, then south east for 115m, then south west on
WEX/26/2 for 825m to WEX/13/2.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Hollybush Lane, Iver) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hollybush Lane for 56 metres. Alternative route: Hollybush Lane, Langley Park Road, Lossie Drive and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affiity Water replace frame and lid, commencing on 20 June 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
