THE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER FOR SUSSEX (PCC) AND CHIEF CONSTABLE (CC)
NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE AUDIT OF ACCOUNTS 2012/13
Notice is hereby given under the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2011 that Helen Thompson, Audit Director, Ernst & Young, Wessex House, 19 Threefield Lane, Southampton, SO14 3QB has completed the audit of the accounts of the PCC and CC for the year ended 31 March 2013.
An unqualified opinion, the independent
auditors report and a separate conclusion on arrangements for securing economy, efficiency
and effectiveness in the use of resources were issued by the Audit Director on 25 September 2013 in accordance with Section 18(1)(b) of the Local Government Finance Act 1982.
A statement of the audited accounts is available for inspection by any local government elector for the Combined Police area (consisting of the areas of Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and West Sussex County
Council) at the office of the Chief Finance Officer to the Police & Commissioner, Sackville House, Brooks Close, Lewes, East Sussex between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on Monday to Friday Any such local government elector may
make copies of the statement of accounts without payment.
The statement of the audited accounts is also
available for inspection on the PCC's website at www.sussex-pcc.gov.uk and on the Sussex Police website at www.sussex.police.uk. A copy of the
audited Statement of Accounts is also lodged in each library across the combined area.
