(Footpaths No.8 Great Aycliffe Parish and No 11 Coatham Mundeville Parish, Bridleways No.10 Great Aycliffe Parish and No. 4 Coatham Mundeville Parish, Aycliffe) (Temporary Footpath & Bridleway Closure) Order 2022
The Council pursuant to arrangements with Darlington Borough Council, on 23/5/2022 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to all traffic from proceeding on following Public Rights of Way at Forrest Park, Aycliffe. Footpath No 8 Great Aycliffe Parish - A 1.13 km length that extends generally south westward from road A167 to Footpath No 11 Coatham Mundeville Parish at Willey Hill Farm. Footpath No 11 Coatham Mundeville Parish - A 270 metre length between Wiley Hill Farm and Footpath No 8 Aycliffe Parish. Bridleway No 10 Great Aycliffe Parish - A 1.04 km length that extends southwards from the east-west section of Footpath No 11 south of the Industrial Estate to Bridleway 4 Coatham Mundeville Parish. Bridleway No 4 Coatham Mundeville Parish - A 400 metre length between Bridleway No 10 Aycliffe Parish and Coatham Lane to enable essential archaeological works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be signed on site during the works but other routes via the public right of way or highway network will be available. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 28/5/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 4 months. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
