Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Thornton Road (Inbound Only), Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Thornton Road (Inbound Only), Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Thornton Road from its junction with Girlington Road to a point outside of No. 514 Thornton Road (Inbound Only).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Thornton Road (unaffected section), Allerton Road, Squire Lane, Duckworth Lane, Toller Lane, Whetley Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect at 23:30 hours on the 30th May 2022 and remain in force until 02:00 hours on the 31st May 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
