1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow propose to make the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order would be to reduce in length and redefine existing parking places in certain lengths of Crystal Way.
3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to further amend The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2014 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be prohibited at any time in certain lengths of Crystal Way.
4. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 3 above would not apply in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of
a police constable in uniform or in certain circumstances, e.g., the picking up or setting down of passengers; the carrying out of statutory powers or duties; the taking in of petrol, etc., from roadside petrol stations; to licensed street traders, etc. The usual exemption relating to vehicles displaying a disabled person's "Blue Badge" would apply.
5. A copy of the proposed Orders, of maps of the relevant areas, of relevant previous Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between the hours of 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and
10am and 3pm Sunday or online at

7. Persons desiring to object to any of the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at
quoting reference 22-11, before the aforementioned date.
