Licensing Act 2003 Notice Of Application For Premises Licence

NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT Mexican Grill Ltd has applied to Durham Council on 19th May 2022 fOr the grant of a premises licence to use the premises at Tortilla, 37-38 Silver Street Durham DH1 3RD for the provision of late night refreshment (indoors) Friday and Saturday 23:00 - 00:00, and the sale by retail of alcohol (on and off) Sunday to Thursday 08:00 - 23:00, Friday and Saturday 08:00 - 00:00; plus non-standard hours (New Year's Eve); all as more particularly set out in the application and plans attached thereto.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing Authority, Durham County Council, EHCP (Licensing), PO Box 617, Durham DH1 9HZ (licensing@ durham.gov.uk) to be received by no later than 16th June 2022 stating the grounds for making said representation. The register and a record of the application can be inspected on the Council's website

or by appointment at the Council's offices during office hours. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is unlimited.
