(Steeple Road, Southminster) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2022 (Steeple Road, Southminster) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2022 (Various Roads (Theedhams Farm Development), Southminster) (20mph Zone) Order 2022 (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.4) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (4), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53, 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III & IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To extend the existing 30mph speed limit on Steeple Road, Southminster in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 16 metres north from the northern property boundary of number 31 Steeple Road, in a northerly direction for approximately



105 metres (this section of road is currently National Speed Limit).

2. To introduce a Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on Steeple Road, Southminster in



the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 5 metres west of the centre point of the existing vehicular access for property number 31 Steeple Road, in a westerly then northerly direction for approximately 64 metres to its junction with David Fisher Way

3. To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following roads, Southminster in the District of Maldon: Road Description





Field Fare Road For its entire length.

Hare Grove From a point approximately 6 metres east of its junction

with David Fisher Way, east for its entire remaining length. High Brooke Drive For its entire length. Skylark Avenue For its entire length.

4. To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of road, Southminster in the District of Maldon:



Road Description



Steeple Road EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 2 metres north of the northern property boundary of No.23 Steeple Road, north for approximately 31 metres.

WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 2 metres north of the northern property boundary of No.23 Steeple Road, north for approximately 10 metres.

From a point approximately 23 metres north of the northern property boundary of No.23 Steeple Road, north for approximately 9 metres (including turning head). Steeple Road BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Steeple Road, west for Access Road approximately 12 metres (including turning head).

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing tile number TQ945 000 revision 0. Date of Operation: The orders will come into operation on 16th September 2022. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required. Alternatively, documents can be posted to you upon request.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Highlands Hill, Mayland & Foxhall Road, Mayland/Steeple) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Highlands Hill, Mayland & Foxhall Road, Mayland/Steeple in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 110m south east of the junction with Mayland Hill for a distance of approximately 1050m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st June 2022 for 1 day or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS242211 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Steeple

Road, Maldon Road, Gospel Corner, The Street, Bradwell Road, West Newlands Farm,

West of Black House Farm, Motts Farm Stone Road, North Street, The Square,

South Street, Southminster Road, Tillingham Road, Foxhall Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 2nd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months

or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Mayland Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 120m south of its junction with Highlands Hill for a distance of approximately 370m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th June 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA77535446 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Mayland Hill, Green Lane, Burnham Road - B1018, Main Road, Southminster Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Mill Lane, Danbury) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Danbury in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with The Avenue for a distance of approximately 80m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th June 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034858837 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Southend Road, Oak Corner, Chelmsford Road, Maldon Road, Copt Hill, Gay Bowers Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Mope Lane, Station Road & Church Road, Wickham Bishops) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Mope Lane & Station Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 30m north of the junction with Wickham Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 240m in a northerly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wickham Bishops in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Mope Lane for a distance of approximately 590m in an easterly then north easterly direction.



3. To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wickham Bishops in the



District a distance of approximately 335m (These works will be carried out in stages). The closures are scheduled to commence on 6th June 2022 for 103 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001152109/171 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

An alternative route is available via Station Road, Maldon Road, Blue Mills Hill, Witham Road, The Street, Blacksmiths Lane and vice versa with access only to Church Road, Mope Lane and Station Road.

The Order came into effect on 19th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Maldon as detailed in the Schedule.



2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.



3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of road as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.



4. "The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.



The works are scheduled to commence after 20th May 2022, as stated on a valid permit.

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or

displayed on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then

re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion

routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each

phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast

installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.

The Order came into effect on 20th May 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months

or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
