Section S3a(2) (Public Footpath No.10 Cassop-Cum-Quarrington Parish) Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2022

On 23 May 2022, The County Council of Durham confirmed the above order. The effect of the order will be to Divert Public Footpath No. 10 Cassop-cum-Quarrington Parish from a point to the east of the sewage works, proceeding in a generally north-easterly direction to a point on the new access road to a line ninniiig from the same point to the east of the sewage works, proceeding in a generally north-north-westerly direction to the west of, and then north-east to join, a new access road, then recommencing on the east side of the road, proceeding in a generally north-easterly then east-south-easterly direction to a point on the new access road, and running north from the new access road south­east of the sewage works to the junction with the former route of Footpath No.l as shown on the order map. A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bowburn library during normal opening hours and via the Council website. The order will come the date on which The County Council of Durham certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order has been complied with] but if any person aggrieved by the order desired to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
