The County Of Cumbria (Footpath No.247003 In The Parish Of Papcastle) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Cumbria County Council to carry out flood resilience works adjacent to the footpath ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along an approx. 55 metre section of Public Footpath No. 247003, alongside the River Derwent in the Parish of Papcastle between Grid References 310252 531184 and 310199 531187.

The Order will come into operation on 13 June 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although it is anticipated that it will only be required for 4 weeks.
