(C57 Front Street, Lanchester) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 20/5/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 195 metres of C57 Front Street, Lanchester that extends between A691 Durham Road and the junction with Kitswell Road, Lanchester to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative from the eastern side of the closure from A691 southerly then westerly onto B6296 Station Road and northerly on Front Street to the western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 30/5/22 from 7am to 7pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
