Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:

Bromyard Gala Speed Restriction, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the following roads,

i. A465, Bromyard from the existing 30 mph North of Panniers Lane to approximately 250m South of Cooper's Green at a maximum speed of 30 mph (364656/254039, 364303/253221).

ii. B4214, Bromyard, from the junction with the A465 to Burgess Farm at a maximum speed of 30 mph (364399/253453, 364095,252336).

The said restriction is required due to slowing of traffic whilst Bromyard Gala Event is In progress and the likelihood of danger to the public while traffic volumes are Increased.

The said restriction will come into force on 23rd June 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
