SOUTH-WEST TWICKENHAM CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE - CR
(Reference 21/100)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 25 May 2022 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone in the South-west Twickenham area in lengths of Appleby Close, Bedford Road, Belmont Road, Brinsworth Close, Brunswick Close, Campbell Close, Campbell Road, Churchview Road, Denmark Road, Elmsleigh Road, Fifth Cross Road, Fourth Cross Road, Gothic Road, Hampton Road, Manor Road, Norwood Close, Rutland Road, Staines Road Trafalgar Road and Woodbine Close. The zone will operate between 10am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
3. The general effect of the Parking Places Supplementary Provisions Permits Order will be to set the charges for parking permits as described in Schedule 1 to this Notice
4. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions in various lengths of the roads within the zone operating at any time and between 10am and 4.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
5. The general effect of the On-Street Parking Places Order will be to set the tariffs of the paid for bays in the zone, as detailed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
6. The general effects of the Restricted Parking Area Order will be to introduce a restricted parking area in Rutland, Road between a point 10.80 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Fifth Cross Road and a point 3.10 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Rutland Road. The zone will operate at all times and access will be permitted.
7. The general effect of the Loading Places Order will be to introduce a loading bay in Fifth Cross Road, outside No. 22 Fifth Cross Road
8. Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places where only vehicles which display a valid resident's permit, a valid business permit, a residents' visitor permit, a multi-zone business permit or an operational permit may park during the controlled hours.
9. The charges for resident, business and multi-zone business parking permits are given in Schedule 1 to this Notice.
10. Copies of details giving particulars of the Orders the Orders, which come into force on 30 May 2022: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/100, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices.
11. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (SPECIAL EVENTS) (VARIOUS STREET PARTIES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2022

1.The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on the 23 May 2022 made the above Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of this Order is to facilitate the holding of street parties on various borough roads to allow residents to celebrate within their communities
3. The streets which will be closed are listed in the Schedule to this notice. Full details of the lengths of street which will be closed and times when the closures will be in force will be contained in the order referred to in the next paragraph.
4.
