(D17/1 Shiplaw Road, Eddleston) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2022
The Scottish Borders Council (D17/1 Shiplaw Road, Eddleston) (Temporary Closing) No 2 Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 2 June 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 6 June 2022 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for BTOpenreach works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D17/1 Shiplaw Road, Eddleston from the A703 to the D18/1.
The alternative route for westbound traffic is via the D17/1, A701 and A703 to the point of closure, for eastbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.
(A701 Parkneuk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022
The Scottish Borders Council (A701 Parkneuk) (Temporary Closing) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 31 May 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:30 and 17:30. The Order is required for patching works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A701 at Parkneuk north of Blyth Bridge. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A701, A72, A721, A702, A766 and A701 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations -Tweedsmuir) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022
The Scottish Borders Council (Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations -Tweedsmuir) (Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 5 June 2022 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 13:00 and 17:30. The Order is required in the interests of public safety due to increased traffic attending Twaedsmuir's Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30mph along the A701 at Tweedsmuir from a point 500 metres south of the Crook Inn to a point 500 metres north of the Crook Inn.
