[Lomond Drive, Newton Meams] (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2022
On the 20th May 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1994, authorising the temporary closure of a section of Lomond Drive, Newton Mearns in the interests of safety of all those attending/ participating in a street party organised to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency vehicles attending an incident) on Lomond Drive, Newton Mearns between property No's 7 and 31 on Saturday 4 June 2022 between 9am until 9pm, or on completion of the event if sooner.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route: Lomond Dr-Laggan Rd - Harvie Ave - Capelrig Rd - Lomond Dr and vice-versa.
