ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (OLD WHINT ROAD. HAYDOCK (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING-ORDER 2022)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 5th day of May, 2022, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit a vehicle proceed In either direction along Old Whint Road between Edward Street and Canniswood Road, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order came into force on Monday 1st August 2022, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to take three weeks.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the investigation and repair of a section of gas main.
