Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Steventon, B4017 High Street (20 & 40 mph Speed Limits) Works commenced: 10 May 2022 Date of Order: 23 May 2022
Coming into force: 31 May 2022 This Order continues in force a works Notice introduced because of bridge narrowing work which is anticipated to be completed 24 November 2023. The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the speed limit on the B4017 to 40mph northwards from the A4130 to a point 204 metres south of its junction with Station Yard, thereafter 20 mph northwards to its junction with Pugsden Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Steventon Parish) (Speed Limits) Order 2019 will be suspended for the duration of the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T10375/AC)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Section 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Abingdon, A415 Rye Farm Car Park Track to Rye Farm Cottages - Closure Date of Order: 21 February 2022
This Order was introduced for resurfacing of the access track from the A415 to Rye Farm Cottages which was due to be undertaken from 1 March but was delayed. Works are now anticipated to take place between 6 and 19 July. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the access track to Rye Farm Cottages. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route for those affected by the closure is via a close-by parallel track to the north through District Council land. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9722/AC)
