ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The Borough of Warrington (Long Lane) (Establishment of Pedestrian Crossing) 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to exercise its powers conferred by Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended & of all other enabling powers, by the installation of a Zebra Crossing facility on the road as specified in the schedule to this Notice. regulation-orders or Town Hall Reception, Town Hall, Sankey St, Warrington, WA1 1UH between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Rebecca Lee of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above or emailed to
rlee@warrington.gov.uk
by 16th June 2022 & all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council & that the substance of any representation together with the name & address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

Notice of Penalty Charges The Borough of Warrington (Bus Lane Contraventions) (Penalty Charges) 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council in accordance with Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in accordance with The Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic Contraventions (Approved Devices, Charging Guidelines and General Provisions) (England) Regulations 2022 made under the Traffic Management Act 2004 have set the following charges in relation to Bus Lane contraventions: -
(a) A penalty charge of £70 on the issue of a Penalty Charge (PCN) for a Bus Lane contravention in accordance with The Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic Contraventions (Approved Devices, Charging Guidelines and General Provisions) (England) Regulations 2022, but discounted by 50% if payment is received within 21 days of the issue of the PCN;
(b) On the issue of a "Charge Certificate" in accordance with The Civil Enforcement of Road Traffic Contraventions (Approved Devices, Charging Guidelines and General Provisions) (England) Regulations 2022, the penalty charge shall be increased by 50%.
The above charges are to take effect from 31st May 2022 & the charges indicated above will apply across the whole of the borough of Warrington from this date.
