NOTICE OF TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Chelford Road, Chorley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic. Restriction of traffic - Chelford Road, Chorley -From the junction with Foden Lane to outside Alderley Edge Cemetery.
This order will come into operation on Monday 30 May 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 24 June 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Church Walk, Knutsford -For its full extent
The alternative route will be via King Street, Moorside which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Monday 06 June 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -
RHS Flower Show 2022
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made orders, containing the following prohibitions to enable the management of volumes of traffic arising from the RHS Flower Show and thereby avoid the likelihood of danger to the public:
1. The prohibition of all traffic on the following lengths of road between 07:00-19:00 on Wednesday 20 July
2022 to Sunday 24 July 2022
i) Rostherne Lane, Rostherne - for its full extent.
ii) Ciceley Mill Lane, Rostherne its full extent
iii) New Road, Rostherne - for its full extent
iv) Marsh Lane, Rostherne - for its full extent
2. The prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of roads between 07:00-19:00 on Wednesday 20 July 2022 to Sunday 24 July 2022
i) Garden Road, Knutsford - for its full extent;
ii) Mereheath Lane, Knutsford - from the junction with Garden Road to the entrance of Egerton Youth Club. The alternative routes for traffic will be as directed by signs/traffic management operatives on site.
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC -ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - The Link, Handforth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - The Link, Handforth - For its full extent
The alternative route will be via Bulkeley Road, Wilmslow Road, Sagars Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Friday 27 May 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work
to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday

SHOW, PICKMERE/TABLEY) Orders 2022
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made orders, containing the following prohibitions and restrictions, to enable the management of volumes of traffic arising from the Royal Cheshire Show and thereby avoid the likelihood of danger to the public:
1. A speed limit of 40mph to be in force on the A556 Chester Road, Tabley/Plumley from its junction with the M6 Motorway at Junction 19 to the Cheshire West and Chester Council administrative boundary between 07:00 on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00 on
Wednesday 22 June 2022.
2. The prohibition of all traffic on Flittogate Lane, Pickmere/Tabley for its full extent between 07:00
on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00 on Wednesday 22 June 2022.
3. A one way road closure will be in force on School Lane, Pickmere between 07:00 on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00 on Wednesday 22 June 2022
4. The prohibition of waiting on the following lengths of roads between 07:00 on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00 on Wednesday 22 June 2022;
i) Pickmere Lane, Pickmere/Tabley - for its full extent
ii) School Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent
iii) Budworth Road, Tabley/Aston by Budworth - from the junction with Pickmere Lane to the junction with Frog Lane
iv) Frog Lane, Pickmere/Aston by Budworth - from the junction with School Lane to the junction with Budworth Road
v) Park Lane, Pickmere - for its full extent
vi) Flittogate Lane, Pickmere/Tabley - for its full extent
5. Prohibition of turning right from the A556 Chester Road, Tabley/Plumley onto Pickmere Lane, Tabley
between 07:00 on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00
on Wednesday 22 June 2022.
6. The prohibition of all traffic on the Layby on Chester Road, Tabley. Layby approximately 80m from the entrance to Smoker Hill Farm between 07:00 on Monday 20 June 2022 and 22:00 on Wednesday 22 June 2022 The alternative routes for traffic will be as directed by signs/traffic management operatives on site.
