TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Churchbury Lane EN1, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Churchbury Lane EN1) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic between the hours of 09.30 hours and 15.30 hours, from entering, proceeding and waiting and loading on both sides of the carriageway on Churchbury Lane EN1, between its junctions with Churchbury Road and Aldersbrook Avenue, as and when directed by signage.
3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above willnot apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.
4. The prohibitions will come into operation on 31 May 2022 and will continue in force for approximately 26 days or until works are completed.
5. Whilst the prohibitions are in place the diversion route will be via; Churchbury Lane, Tenniswood Road, Willow Road, Aldersbrook Avenue and vice versa.
