NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF WORCESTERSHIRE
ADDITION OF FOOTPATH AD-686, ASTLEY AND DUNLEY AND DELETION OF FOOTPATH AD-521, ASTLEY AND DUNLEY
The above Order, made on 12 May 2022, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to, and deleting from, them the footpaths:
AD-686 The length of footpath AD-686 in the parish of Astley and Dunley to be added has a width of 6 feet (1.83 metres) and commences at a stile off U64219 Burnthorne Lane at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 7919 7004. The path proceeds in a south-east by easterly direction for 42 metres to terminate at the south-eastern side of a footbridge at OSGR SO 7922 7002.
AD-521 The length of footpath AD-521 in the parish of Astley and Dunley to be deleted commences at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 7925 7002. The path proceeds in a southeast by southerly direction for 111 metres to terminate at a point on the A451 Stourport Road at OSGR SO 7931 6993.

Any representations or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Mapping Manager, Public Rights of Way Mapping Team, The Countryside Centre, Worcester Woods Country Park, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2LG or countryside@worcestershire.gov.uk not later than 4 July 2022 and must state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with it.
