Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Phase 1: Westlands Lane (Part), Melksham Without; from outside property known as No.42 Westlands Lane to outside property known as No.43 Westlands Lane;
Phase 2: Westlands Lane (Part), Melksham Without; from outside property known as No.32A Westlands Lane to outside property known as No.45E Westlands Lane;
Phase 3: Westlands Lane (Part), Melksham Without; from outside property known as No.45A Westlands Lane to outside property known as No.33 Westlands Lane to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer scheme and associated works.
Alternative routes: Phase 1 via Westlands Lane - eastbound - (unaffected length) A350 - A365 - B3353 - Westlands Lane (unaffected length); Phase 2 and 3 via Westlands Lane (unaffected length), B3353, A365, Shurnhold, A350, Westlands Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 13 June 2022 and the closures will be required consecutively until 24 June 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
B) A350 Beanacre Road (Part), Melksham; from outside property known as Spencers Sport and Social Club to outside property known as no.4 Beanacre Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out replacements on manhole covers.
Alternative route via A350 (unaffected length) - A4 - A365 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 1 night.

C) Russell Mill Lane, West Lavington; from its junction with A360 for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks and associated works.
No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 23 May 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 for 4 days.

Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER No.6 2022
(Ref: TTRO 8064) Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in pursuance of the provisions of S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway surface dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 6 June 2022 for a maximum period of eighteen months.

Where a road is to be closed on two separate dates this is to allow sufficient time between the surface dressing and sealing and lining works. The closure will not be implemented for the whole of the period and are anticipated to be for one to two days duration only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

The closure is anticipated to take place between 11 July - 7 August 2022.
