BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL


The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Oxford Street, Lee Common) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Oxford Street for 67 metres. Alternative route: Oxford Street, Lee Clump Road, Chartridge Lane, Village Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst new water connection is installed, taking place commencing on 28 May 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Summerleys Road, Princes Risborough) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Summerleys Road for 121 metres. Alternative route: Summerleys Road, Lower Icknield Way, Thame Road, Longwick Road, Aylesbury Road, New Road, Horns Lane, Bell Street, Wycombe Road, Station Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a safety examination of bride structure takes place commencing on 25 May 2022 between 22:00 and 05:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Barrack Hill, Coleshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Barrack Hill for 55 metres. Alternative route: Barrack Hill, Manor Way, Village Road, Windmill Hill, Chalk Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a repair a service pipe takes place commencing on 25 May 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Nags Head Lane, Great Missenden in the Parish of Great Missenden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Nags Head Lane for approximately 167m. Alternative route: Windsor Lane, Heath End Road, Copes Road, Stag Lane, Missenden Road, Peterley Lane, Nags Head Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole replacement works take place commencing on 30 May 2022 between 08:00-18:00 The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Marlow Common Road, Marlow Common in the Parish of Great Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marlow Common Road for approximately 66m. Alternative route: Frieth Road, Lower Woodend Road, Marlow Common Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach transfer of plant for a new customer connection works take place commencing on 6 June 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20th May 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council"), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the Act of 2004") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, proposes to make the following Orders.


- The Buckinghamshire Council (Prohibition of Loading, Waiting and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 002) Order 2022.
- The Buckinghamshire Council (Speed Limit) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 003) Order 2022.
- The Buckinghamshire Council (Traffic Movement) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 004) Order 2022.


A copy of the Orders and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with a copy of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at "The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF".

If you wish to question the validity of these Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within six weeks from 20th May 2022, by applying to the High Court. The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Hawks Hill, Bourne End) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hawks Hill for 218 metres. Alternative route: Hawks Hill, Kiln Lane, Harvest Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst duct installation takes place commencing on 30 May 2022 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (King Street, Piddington in the Parish of Piddington and Wheeler End CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in King Street for approximately 93m. Alternative route: Old Oxford Road, Princes Street, Queen Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach pole testing works take place commencing on 31 May 2022 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 31 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Giles in the Parish of Chalfont St. Giles CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Gorelands Lane for approximately 324m. Alternative route: Chesham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Copthall Lane, Gravel Hill, Amersham Road, London Road, Vache Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach ducting works take place commencing on 30 May 2022. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Chapel Lane, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chapel Lane for 106 metres. Alternative route: West Wycombe Road, Oxford Road, Arch Way, Abbey Way, Abbey Way Gyratory, Frances Dove Way, Marlow Hill, Handy Cross Roundabout, A404 M40 J4 Roundabout, M40 Junction 4 To Junction 3 On Slip, John Hall Way, Cressex Road, New Road, Chapel Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 19 June 2022 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 19 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Roughwood Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Roughwood Lane for 274 metres. Alternative route: Nightingales Lane, Cokes Lane, White Lion Road, Chalfont Station Road, Burtons Lane and vice versa. The closure is required Openreach overhead cabling works take place commencing on 17 June 2022 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 17 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Church Lane, Bridge Street, Great Kimble in the Parish of Great and Little Kimble cum Marsh CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Lane, Bridge Street for approximately 650m. Alternative route: Lower Icknield Way, Askett Village Lane, Aylesbury Road, Risborough Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach cabling and ducting works take place commencing on 30 May 2022. Road will remain closed for the duration of the works, access to residents within the closure points. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
