PTO1034 - Shoeburyness Ward Junction Protections


1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Southend-on-Sea City Council proposes to make the amendments to the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:
To install junction protection; no waiting at any time (double yellow lines) AND no loading or unloading at any time (double yellow kerb blip markings) at approximately 10 metres at each of the junction locations below:

(a) Anson Chase with the additional junctions with Anson Chase
(b) Ashanti Close with the additional junctions with Ashanti Close
(c) Ashes Road with St Georges Lane
(d) Barrington Close with Frobisher Way
(e) Blackgate Service Road both access points Blackgate Road
(f) Backwater Close with Colne Drive
(g) Boundary Way with Magazine Road
(h) Bowbank Close with Watkins Way
(i) Bray Court with Churchfields
(j) Bulwark Road with Anson Chase and the additional junction with Bulwark Road
(k) Caversham Avenue with Churchfields and the additional junction with Caversham Avenue
(l) Chertsey Close with Sonning Way
(m) Churchfields with the additional junction with Churchfields
(n) Collingwood Way with Frobisher Way
(o) Colne Drive with Frobisher Way (Eastern and Western)
(p) Cookham Court with Churchfields
(q) Dachets Drive with Churchfields
(r) Dovecote with Mallards
(s) Eaton Walk with Dachets Drive and the additional junction with Eaton Walk
(t) Exeter Close with additional junction with Exeter Close
(u) Frobisher Way with end junction of Frobisher Way
(v) Gunners Rise with Magazine Road
(w) Hogarth Drive with Vermeer Crescent and with Constable Way
(x) Jackdaw Close with additional junctions of Jackdaw Close

4. Comments on the proposals either for or against the proposals together with the reasons for which they are made must be made in writing to the Business Change and Development Team at the address below or by email to traffweb@southend
