Winchester Road, Temporary Waiting and Loading Restrictions

THE WALTHAM FOREST (WINCHESTER ROAD E4) (TEMPORARY RESTICTIONS) (NO. 1) ORDER 2022
(TT23(22))

1. The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 19th May 2022 it made an Order to allow for the repair, maintenance and installation of new telecommunication apparatus by BT Openreach in a safe and efficient manner in Winchester Road E4.

2. The general effect of the Order would be - only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed or, where applicable, covered - to suspend all free regulated partial footway and non-footway parking space and restrict vehicles (except works vehicles) from waiting or loading, for any purpose, "at any time'' on both sides of Winchester Road E4.

3. Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of this Order would be removed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 1st June 2022 and will be valid for 3 months, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

5. The restrictions mentioned in paragraph 2 would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used in connection with the said works.

NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all sections of Winchester Road but in a sequence as directed by the Council. Signage will be placed in advance of any works in Winchester Road which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the restrictions and effects of any temporary traffic management as necessary.
