Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:

B4348 From Stone Street To Brookfield Road, Kingstone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4348 From Stone Street To Brookfield Road, Kingstone, junc of Brookfield Road. Grid Ref: 343126/234900. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via B4349 onto A465 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to lay new drainage pipes x2 across width of carriageway, clear existing ditch's, jet existing system, clear manholes and gullys works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 24th of May 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 16 days.
