Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for periods between 0900 hours and 1800 hours, for one eight-hour period, from Thursday 02 June and Sunday 05 June 2022, or when the event is finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Gatcombe Village Road, Newport, on Thursday 02 June 2022, between its junctions with Doctors Lane and Gatcombe Footpath 25. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 20 May 2022 and Friday 1 July 2022 the following roads will be closed for both day and night for a period of approximately 5-10 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable the next planned programme of road reconstruction to be completed. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences:
