BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL


The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Field Road, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Field Road for 291 metres. Alternative route: Field Road, Blacksmiths Lane, Hollybush Lane, and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a pole replacement takes place commencing on 24 May 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Hedgerley Lane, Gerrards Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hedgerley Lane for 330 metres. Alternative route: Village Lane, Hedgerley Hill, Collum Green Road, Windsor Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst duct is being laid in the verge, taking place commencing on 25 May 2022 between 09:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in the entire length of Public Footpath No. 16/4, Iver. The closure is required in the interests of public safety due to the structural failure of Reeds Bridge and to allow works to take place to reinstate the bridge commencing on 27 May 2022 for 6 months. Alternative route is via the towpath along the Grand Union Canal to Thorney Lane North and north along the public highway to Marina Way to rejoin the public footpath. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 May 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 20th May 2022 Buckinghamshire Council (hereinafter
referred to as "the Council"), in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") as amended and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the Act of 2004") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, proposes to make the following Orders.
- The Buckinghamshire Council (Prohibition of Loading, Waiting and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 002) Order 2022.
The Buckinghamshire Council (Speed Limit) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 003) Order 2022.
The Buckinghamshire Council (Traffic Movement) Order 2021 (Amendment No. 004) Order 2022.
A copy of the Orders and Plans showing the lengths of road affected, together with a copy of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at "The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF". If you wish to question the validity of these Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders, you may within six weeks from 20th May 2022, by applying to the High Court. Alternative route: Horseshoe Hill, Dorney Wood Road, Littleworth Road, Dropmore Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Pole Replacement takes place commencing on 15 June 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Horseshoe Hill, Dorney Wood Road, Littleworth Road, Dropmore Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Pole Replacement takes place commencing on 15 June 2022 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Slade Oak Lane, Denham in the Parish of Denham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Slade Oak Lane for approximately 194m. Alternative route: Denham Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Shire Lane, Hornhill Road, Woodland Road, Denham Way, North Orbital Road, Denham Avenue, Old Rectory Lane, Slade Oak Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach tree trimming works to clear from overhead cables take place commencing on 30 May 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 30 May 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
