(MILL LANE AREA, GILESGATE, DURHAM) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT & ZONE) ORDER 2016 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2022

The County Council of Durham proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 87 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to
a. amend Schedule 1, Item 8 of the order to correct an administrative error in the description of the restriction to read as follows:- 3 meters into Frank Street from the junction from Renny's Lane in a southerly direction to a point 7 metres north of its junction with A181 Front Street, Gilesgate
b. to revoke schedule 2 of the order in its entirety.
A copy of the draft Order and supporting documentation may be inspected via the Councils website and at Belmont library during normal opening hours. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send their grounds of objection in writing, to Sharon Renwick, Legal Assistant at County Hall, Durham or e-mail highways.orders@durham.gov.uk quoting ref 33426 by 9 June 2022.
