We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Victoria Square, Victoria Street & Hallams Yard, Skipton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 23/05/22 & 31/12/22, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpaths 05.42/24/1 & 05.42/18/1, Thornton In Lonsdale & 05.26/30/1, Ingleton & 05.9/11/1, Burton In Lonsdale, Order 2020, No 334
Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpaths 05.42/24/1 & 05.42/18/1, Thornton In Lonsdale & 05.26/30/1, Ingleton & 05.9/11/1, Burton In Lonsdale, between grid references SD68887278 & SD67607264, due to erosion resulting in the route not being safe for the public has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 18/05/23 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. An alternative route will be signed on site.
