NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11 May 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to introduce a 20mph speed limit zone on Bailey Mews, Bunting Lane, Buzzard Road, Castle Well Drive, Castle Well Mews, Castle Well Road, Crosier Close, Curlew Road, Devonald Way, Dinnis Way, Grouse Road, Henry Lane, Herman Way, Hillfort Mews, Jay Drive, Kestrel Drive, Lanfranc Close, Lapwing Drive, Lark Lane, Mitre Way, Norman Drive, Pheasant Drive, Ramsbury Drive, Robin Road, Roger Way, Sherbourne Drive, Virginia Way and Walter Way - the complete lengths.
A copy of the Order can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 23 May 2022.
THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER No.3 2022 (Ref: TTRO 8062)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in pursuance of the provisions of S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway surface dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 6 June 2022 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
Where a road is to be closed on two or more separate dates this is to allow sufficient time between the surface dressing and sealing and lining works. The closures will not be implemented for the whole of the period and are anticipated to be for one to two days duration only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
Closure 1 is anticipated to take place on 3 dates between 6 June - 10 July 2022. Closure 2 is anticipated to take place between 6 June - 10 July 2022. Closures 3 - 6 are anticipated to take place between 11 July -7 August 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Butterfield Drive (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Beauchamp Drive to its junction with Simmance Way to enable Wessex Water to carry out Secion 81 defect and associated works. Alternative route: via Butterfield Drive (unaffected length) - Boscombe Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 June 2022 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
B) C336 (Part), Alderbury; from its junction with Old Vicarage Lane to its junction with Folly Lane to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement and associated works. Alternative route via New Petersfinger Road - A36 - Wain a Long Road - Bourne Avenue - Laverstock Road - Manor Farm Road -Milford Mill Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. Orders A) to H) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
