Notice of Intention to Appropriate Open Space Land
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 122 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Winchester City Council the owner of the parcel of land described below which is held and maintained as public open space intends to appropriate the said land for housing purposes, in order to provide residents' car parking (subject to planning permission) to be owned and managed by Winchester City Council.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND
Land to the front of numbers 11 to 14 Southbrook Cottages, Micheldever, Winchester, Hampshire comprising an area of approximately 276 square metres (the "Land").
A plan of the Land may be inspected at the offices of Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 9LJ on Monday to Friday (excluding 2 and 3 June) between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm and is available on the Council's web-site at:
Before making any decision on the appropriation of the Land the Council will consider all representations received. Representations should be made in writing to Deborah Sunley, Winchester City Council at the above address or via email to dsunley@winchester.gov.uk by 5pm on the 12 June 2022.
