ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.


Church Ln, Grappenhall (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) (Whit) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Church Ln from its jct. with Broad Ln to its jct. with Glebe Ave. The Order will be effective from 30th May 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Church Ln, A56 Chester Rd, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa or via Broad Ln, Grappenhall Ln, A50 Cliff Ln, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow continuing works to Heritage Area reconstructing & relaying cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage. Ref: High/2303

Warrington Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Warrington Ln from its jct. with Burford Ln to its jct. with Spring Ln. The Order will be effective from 23rd May 2022 for 1 day, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Burford Ln, Higher Ln, Lymm Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to relocate a pole. Ref: High/2333

Trans Pennine Trail & Lymmhay Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving & Footpath Closure) Temporary Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 17th February 2022. The effect of which is as follows: Prohibition of Driving: Lymmhay Ln from its jct. with Brooklyn Dr for a distance of approx. 60m in a northerly direction; Footpath Closure: Trans Pennine Trail from Whitbarrow Rd to Reddish Cres. The Order was to be effective from 21st February 2022 for 16 weeks in the following phases: Phase 1: Trans Pennine Trail footpath from Whitbarrow Rd to Lymmhay Ln; Phase 2: Trans Pennine Trail footpath from Lymmhay Ln to Reddish Cres; Phase 3: Lymmhay Ln carriageway, however due to delays on site the works will now remain in place until 24th June 2022. Works are weather dependent so the restrictions will be in place as & when signed on site. The alternative routes & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Ref: High/2300

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 36) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 18th May 2022. The effect of the Order is as follows:-1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-
(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of: No waiting at any time: Grammar School Rd (West Side) - From its jct. with Station Rd, for a distance of 23.5m, in a north westerly direction.

(b) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Grammar School Rd (North East Side) -

From its jct. with Knutsford Rd for a distance of 41m in a south easterly direction; Grammar School Rd (South West Side) - Its entire length.
(c) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Grammar School Rd (North East Side) - From its jct. with Knutsford Rd for a distance of 41m in a south easterly direction; Grammar School Rd (South West Side) - Its entire length.

The Order will be effective from 19th May 2022.
Deposited documents may be viewed on-line at https://www.warrington.gov.uk/permanent-traffic-regulation-orders or Town Hall Reception, Town Hall, Sankey St, Warrington, WA1 1UH between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 18th May 2022, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
