Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary 40mph Speed Restriction, Various Locations within the District of Craven, Order 2022 No 103.

We have made this order which will be to prohibit any vehicle from using the following roads for varying periods of between 1 & 5 days & up to 4 occasions at each location due to surface dressing works. This order will also prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 40mph to be applied when necessary. The restriction will be put into effect by notices & signs: A59 Thorlby Roundabout to A6069 Broughton Road Junction, Skipton, A56 Thornton in Craven to County Boundary, A6069 Otley Road, Skipton, B6255 Ingleton to Ribblehead, C131 West Road, Lothersdale & Thornton in Craven, C401 Halton West - A682 to County Boundary, B6478 Tosside to Wigglesworth, Duhazel Halton West- C398 to County Boundary, Long Bank Lane, Halton West & C394 Stainforth to Halton Gill. The maximum duration of the order will be from 16/05/22 until 31/08/22 inclusive. The closures will be put into effect by notices & signs & local alternative routes will be signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times & vehicular access will be maintained whenever possible. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative mute will be signed on site where appropriate.
