(Longdean Park, Chester-le-Street) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 6/5/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 30 metres of segregated footpath between numbers 66 and 72 Longdean Park, Chester-le-Street to enable new street lighting works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available to pedestrian traffic via other footways of Longdean Park. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 17/5/22 from 9am to 3pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 2 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
